Attendance Procedures

• Absences/Late Arrivals: If your student will be absent or will be arriving late, please notify us of the reason by calling the Student Attendance Line or emailing lchsattendance@libertycommon.org before 8:15AM on the morning of the absence.
• Extended Absences:  Pre-Arranged Absence Forms are available from the Front Office and require approval signatures from the student’s teachers, a parent/guardian, and the front office. Please turn in before the absence.
• Early Check-Out Procedure:
  • When you know in advance that your student will be leaving during the school day, please notify the Front Office with a written note, Student Attendance Line message, or Student Attendance email, stating the time and reason for the early departure to the Front Office. We will give your student a pass to give to the teacher at the beginning of class. The student will be responsible for quietly leaving the classroom at the appointed time and proceeding to the Front Office to sign out or wait for parent/guardian pick-up.
  • When your student isn’t aware he/she will be picked up early, kindly phone the Front Office a few minutes before you arrive or stop by the Front Office when you arrive to sign out your student. Please arrange appointments/early pickups during passing periods, lunch, or study hall when possible. Thank you for your consideration of our teaching staff and school liability.
  • Early dismissals for non-LCHS athletic activities must be arranged with the Athletic Director.
