Give Me Liberty
Launched in 2022, the Give Me Liberty website functions as a “how-to” guide for anyone interested in replicating all or part of a high-performing and well-proven charter school. The tool is an open-source repository of documents, policies, curricula, lesson plans, maxims, and administrative guidance perfected over 30 years at Liberty Common School in Fort Collins, Colorado. The site has become a useful tool in the expansion of high-quality education with international reach.
This resource is made possible through the generous support of the Daniels Fund.
“The Give Me Liberty website resources have had a profound impact on Independence Classical Academy's ability to develop a strong charter and curriculum by providing structured, high-quality tools that streamline our planning process and ensure alignment with our classical education mission. Specifically, the curriculum development resources, including sample frameworks and best practices for classical education, have guided us in designing a rigorous, cohesive curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, virtue, and academic excellence. These tools not only enhanced the quality and coherence of our foundational documents, but also empowered our team to focus on strategic priorities, confident that we are building on proven, field-tested resources.”— Jess Turner, Independence Classical
