Liberty Common School serves families with students in grades k–12 across four academic campuses in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Two elementary campuses serve grades k–6, a junior-high campus serves grades 7 & 8, and a high-school campus serves grades 9–12.

Is Liberty Common Right for Your Family?

The school’s academic approach—regular reading, balanced homework, accelerated standards—requires student commitment and parental support.   For those who embrace the school’s classic mission, rewards are substantial—not just high achievement but students who are curious, confident, and equipped to think critically and live virtuously.  Learning about the history and philosophy of the school by attending a public-information night or viewing the material online is the best way for discerning parents to determine whether Liberty Common School is the best fit for them.

Part-Time Enrollment

Liberty Common High School offers part-time enrollment opportunities for homeschool students in grades 9–12.  Students attending part-time do not earn a diploma, but this option allows families to supplement their homeschool program with rigorous coursework at LCHS.  Enrollment for part-time students begins annually after August 1st once scheduling has been completed for full-time students.

Enrollment is dependent upon available space and course availability will vary each year.  Many homeschool families have found this opportunity particularly valuable for access to advanced-placement (AP) courses, upper-level mathematics and science classes, and fine-arts offerings.

Part-time students pay a reduced annual student fee of $50 and may participate in the House System at their family's discretion.

Families interested in learning more or beginning the enrollment process are encouraged to contact Lead Registrar Mrs. Elise Harkey at eharkey@libertycommon.org.  Part-time students complete the same enrollment paperwork required of full-time students.
