Liberty Common School is committed to digital compliance under HB21-1110 through the strategic allocation of resources, establishment of dedicated roles, and proactive management of vendor relationships. This approach fosters an inclusive digital environment to ensure the educational success of all students and staff.

Implementation

  • Liberty Common School conducts automated testing of all webpages for accessibility and quality assurance. 
  • Liberty Common School staff members conduct a quarterly page-by-page accessibility audit of the website.
  • Liberty Common School contracts with Finalsite to provide manual accessibility testing of its websites and applications. 
  • Liberty Common School utilizes the software Commonlook to test and remediate digital products in an effort to provide continuous improvement of its sites and applications. 

Staff Training

  • Liberty Common School provides internally-developed digital-accessibility training for all staff.
  • Annual digital accessibility refresher training is provided to all staff.

Digital-Resource Compliance

  • Canva Accessibility Checker is used for created Canva documents and resources.
  • Accessibility checkers in Microsoft Office products is used as needed.
  • Adobe Acrobat Professional and CommonLook PDF plugin is used for advanced-document-compliance needs.
