Liberty's Special Forces

Liberty's Special Forces
Bob Schaffer, Headmaster
Liberty students are fortunate to be led by professional-classroom instructors who are all in one place together and dedicated to a patriotic vocation of educating young Americans. Especially upon the conclusion of another successful school year, I am humbled by the reality that every LCS teacher could pursue more lucrative work elsewhere. In these times, I definitely count our blessings.

Today (26 May), other heroic patriots, members of the U.S. Army Special Forces, commemorate their patron saint Philip Neri who passed in 1595.  St. Philip Neri is remembered as one whose many talents and intellect accorded prestigious promotions and opportunities; however, he declined them for a consecrated life of teaching.

Patriots all and champions in the holy cause of liberty, those given to the making of citizens and saints are revered indeed. Upon this coincident date when the mighty LCHS Class of 2023 ascends the graduation stage and all other LCS students dash headlong into a glorious summer break, the blessings of the entire faculty and support staff are realized in their enormity.

Like a noise from the sky of a strong-driving wind filling the entire house, our LCS paragons are renewing the face of the earth as they mimic St. Philip Neri in fortitude, devotion, and love. We do well to celebrate them with heaps of honor and gestures of sincere gratitude.

In extraordinary unity, Liberty’s special-forces faculty has led us by the spirit of Semper Ad Meliora. Happy summertime everyone, and…BRAVO!
