Class of '14: Nate Trout

Nate had a typically busy year in 2025.  He began the year on his second deployment to the Middle East in the US Air Force.  After returning, he completed training to become an instructor pilot. The highlight of the year came later when Nate became engaged to Molly Kiernan.

Nate planned the surprise proposal by coordinating with Molly’s employer and friends to arrange a “fake” work training in Key West, Florida.  The plan nearly fell apart when their flights were delayed for two days and they missed a connection in Miami, forcing them to rent a car and drive three hours through midnight into the next day.  Despite the travel hiccups, everything worked out—Molly said yes.
