Governance
The Board of Directors at Liberty Common School consists of seven Members elected from the parent community. The Board sets policies in order to support and maintain the school’s mission, goals, and educational philosophy. It designates advisory committees to implement personnel, budgetary, and academic processes that create a consistent educational setting.
The Liberty Common School Board of Directors is informed by the charter between Liberty Common School and its authorizer, the Poudre School District.

Meet The Board
Meetings
Board meetings are typically held at Liberty Common Elementary School (Aristotle Campus) located at 2130 West Horsetooth Road in Fort Collins, on the last Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM. All meetings are open to the public and public attendance is welcome. Meeting agendas are posted at least 24 hours in advance.
Requests, concerns, and informational items may be offered by parents, students, and teachers for discussion during the public-comment period at regular Board meetings.

Becoming A Board Member
Parents seeking candidacy must fill out an online application and secure a recommendation from the Headmaster who verifies each candidate’s prerequisite qualifications and establishes the candidate’s alignment with the school’s philosophical mission.
