Full Time

Computer Science Teacher/IT Support - High School - We are accepting applications for a part-time Computer Science Instructor to begin August 2018. The instructor’s responsibilities include program planning, curriculum development, and delivery of the computer science classes for junior-high and high-school students, in cooperation with the school’s existing computer science department. IT support responsibilities involve participating with the IT team to support the school’s technology, including the setup and maintenance of computers, peripherals, audio/video equipment, networking, infrastructure, and applications.

Study Hall Monitor (a.k.a. Dean of Study) - High School
 - We are accepting applications for a full-time Dean of Study paraprofessional instructor at LCHS beginning August 2018.  The Dean of Study has primary responsibility for monitoring study-halls to ensure students remain on task in a quiet work environment as well as enforcing school-wide policies for student behavior including common violations of the code of conduct including the LCHS Dress Code.  Click on the link for a full description of the position.

Paraprofessional - High School - We are accepting applications for a full-time Paraprofessional at the high school beginning August 2018. The Paraprofessional is part of the special education and academic support collaborative team, and is responsible for assisting in implementing direct instruction and reinforcing organizational skills and study habits in small groups.

Teachers' Aide - Elementary School - We are accepting applications for Teachers' Aides at various grade levels to begin August 2018. The Aides work closely with the teachers to effectively integrate subjects and methods with the teachers' overall instructional plans.

Director of Fundraising and Community Relations - We are accepting applications for a Director of Fundraising and Community Relations to begin immediately. This person will develop and administer a cohesive fundraising system designed to support the mission of Liberty Common School, and afford prudent academic and instructional advantages for Liberty’s students. 

Part Time

  

Part-Time Spanish Teacher - High School - We are accepting applications for a part-time Spanish instructor beginning August 2018.  The Spanish Teacher has responsibility for program delivery of the Spanish-instructional program for junior-high and high-school students, in cooperation with the school’s existing Foreign-Language Department. These classes include introductory and intermediate Spanish instruction for two periods per day.  Applicants should be dedicated to strong skills and knowledge-based curriculum, and dedicated to high student achievement.

All Liberty Common instructors are hired on a professional basis (not on a union-wage scale) earning compensation commensurate with their contribution to the organization and professional growth as determined by regular and routine professional evaluations.
