MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Liberty Common School is to provide excellence and fairness in education through a common foundation. This is achieved by successfully teaching a contextual body of organized knowledge, the values of a democratic society, and the skills of learning. In short, we teach common knowledge, common virtues, and common sense.
GOVERNANCE
Liberty's Board of Directors
is comprised of 7 elected parents who oversee and establish educational
and operational policies of the school. The Board meets once a month
to discuss school operations and hear reports. All meetings are
open to the public.
SCHOOL ACCOUNTABILITY
Goal 1
LCS will exceed state standards, and the district % of students scoring at or above proficient on CSAP reading and math tests.
Goal 2
The standard deviation for levels tests will show a narrower spread in comparison with district results in grades K-6.
